University Vase

The University Vase was commissioned by the University of Warsaw – we designed it for the courtyard of the Kazimierzowski Palace, where the scale of the architecture required a form befitting its grandeur. A wide, fluted bowl on a short stem and a square plinth works perfectly in such settings: in front of a representative facade, on a cobblestone courtyard, within the axis of a symmetrical composition. The vase joined the Chronos permanent collection directly from its original execution – without corrections, in its original proportions.
