The inspiration came from the cylindrical pots placed in the cloisters of Italian villas, where the rhythm of arcades and light shaped their simple silhouette. The Italian Amphora maintains this restraint of form. A smooth body and subtly profiled rim create proportions based on peace and balance. This is a model that does not dominate the composition but rather organizes it, creating a balanced background for both shaped plants and free plantings.
