Amphora Olympia

The inspiration for this model came from traditional Provençal planters placed at the main entrance to châteaux. We have retained their characteristic bulging shape, reminiscent of a seated chalice, while consciously foregoing decorative laurel garlands as a motif unsuitable for a harsher climate. The result is a planter with a clean, stable form, serving as a base around which further spatial composition can be built. When placing Olimpia on grass, a beneficial solution is to add a square sandstone slab as a base, placed slightly above ground, which gives the planter an elegant margin against its surroundings.
